Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt has insisted that he is not worried by Tristan Thompson's holdout of training camp.
The 24-year-old missed the first day of his side's practice sessions ahead of the new season after failing to secure a new long-term contract during the off-season.
Thompson reportedly wants a maximum contract but the club are unwilling to meet his demands, leading to the standoff between the two parties.
However, Blatt has admitted that he is not overly concerned by the forward's situation yet.
"Not too, too much right now," Blatt told reporters, when asked how much training Thompson had missed.
"Obviously, we hope to see him as soon as possible. But, as I know Tristan, he's maintaining great conditioning and he hopefully will be with us as soon as possible."
The Cavaliers open their season against the Chicago Bulls on October 27.
