LeBron James has confirmed that he will play for the Cleveland Cavaliers in their season opener against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night.
The four-time MVP needed an injection in his lower back recently and missed almost two weeks of training camp due to the problem.
However, James has been back on the court with his teammates in recent days and he will be ready to start his 13th NBA season as part of Cleveland's starting five.
"I feel good," James told reporters. "I'm ready to go. I'll be active tomorrow."
The Cavaliers will be without Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert as they continue to recover from knee and wrist injuries, respectively.
