Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving has agreed to terms on a five-year contract extension after months of uncertainty over his future.
Although the contract can't be signed until July 10, both Irving and Cavs owner Dan Gilbert took to Twitter in order to confirm the news.
Irving was non-committal about his future in Cleveland for most of last season, but he wasted little time in securing a new deal after the free agency market opened on Monday.
Andrew Wiggins was added to the young roster with the first overall pick in last Thursday's Draft.
