Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry hails second-half display

Stephen Curry admits that the Golden State Warriors could have lost against the Detroit Pistons if they had not stepped up in the second half.

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has hailed his side's second-half performance against the Detroit Pistons in the NBA on Monday.

Mark Jackson's team were ahead by just one point against their hosts at the break at the Palace of Auburn Hills, but eventually won the contest 104-96.

"We gave up [62] points in the first half and that's a recipe for disaster against any team on the road," NBA.com quotes the 25-year-old as saying.

"To hold them to 34 in the second half, that's big. It allows your offense to get back in the game."

The Warriors are currently sixth in the Western Conference.
