Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson has claimed that his team's performance in the 125-94 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers was a "thing of beauty" on Wednesday night.
Klay Thompson's career-high 38 points guided the Warriors to a convincing win and Jackson was generous with his praise after the game.
"I thought it was a thing of beauty from beginning to end," the 48-year-old told reporters.
Jackson admitted that he was also proud of the way his side handled the pressure in front of their own fans on opening night.
"And I thought our guys did a great job of being ready after the cheers. When the ball went up, they were ready and prepared," he added.
"When we are clicking we know how good we can be."
The Warriors will look to make it two wins in as many nights when they meet the Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
