The Los Angeles Clippers have confirmed that Blake Griffin and JJ Redick will be rested in their final regular-season game.
Griffin is expected to be suspended after committing a 16th technical foul of the campaign, while Redick has dealt with a string of injuries this season.
Coach Doc Rivers told ESPN: "The worst case is [Griffin is] suspended one game, I'm not going to bring him anyway. They'll probably rescind that. I'd be surprised but you never know. I want Blake to stay home and get some rest. He's so banged up.
"We're going to play [tonight]. I just don't know who we're going to play as far as our guys but we'll be ready to play."
The Clippers can still finish second in the Western Conference if they beat the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, but also need the Oklahoma City Thunder to lose.
