Galatasaray chief Abdullah Kavukcu has said that Victor Osimhen will inform the Turkish giants in April whether he is open to joining them on a permanent basis during this summer's transfer window.
The Nigeria international made the move to Galatasaray on loan from Napoli last summer, and he has been in excellent form for the Istanbul outfit this term, scoring 26 times and registering five assists in 30 appearances.
There is currently a host of speculation surrounding the 26-year-old's future, as he is not expected to be with his parent club next summer; Manchester United are currently being heavily linked with the striker, while it is understood that Chelsea are in the mix.
Kavukcu has said that Galatasaray are expecting to be informed of the forward's plans in April, while he claimed that "the top five clubs in the world" are all interested in signing him this summer.
"Osimhen will inform us of his decision in April," Calcio Napoli 1926 quotes the Galatasaray chief as saying. "At the moment, the top five clubs in the world have also shown interest in him."
"Osimhen's arrival was a dream come true. Now he is here and playing for us. In January, there was talk of him leaving, but he stayed because he loves Galatasaray. Today, he is the player all our rivals would like to have."

Osimhen expected to communicate Galatasaray decision in April
At the end of February, Osimhen suggested that he would be open to remaining with Galatasaray on a long-term basis.
"To be honest I don't know," Osimhen told reporters. "You know the last few months, nobody ever thought I would come here, I never believed I would come to Galatasaray despite how big they are
"I live for the moment. I don't know what will happen in the summer, but I want everybody to understand that I really love this club. I love the fans, I love the president, I love everyone associated with the club. It's really a big deal to be here and I'm really enjoying my time here."
However, a move to the Premier League this summer is believed to be firmly in the Nigerian's mind, with Man United, at this stage of proceedings, thought to be the English club showing the strongest interest.
Osimhen will allegedly have a £62m release clause in his contract this summer, which makes him a bargain signing considering his quality.

Would Osimhen be a good signing for Man United?
The striker has made 133 appearances for Napoli, scoring 76 goals and registering 12 assists in the process, while he has continued to put up impressive numbers at Galatasaray this season.
There is no question that he is one of the leading forwards in world football, and it would be a significant coup for Man United if they were able to sign him, especially if the Red Devils do not secure Champions League football for next season.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have both struggled to make their mark this term, and even though both could remain at Old Trafford next term, the club desperately need to bring in a reliable goalscorer.
Osimhen certainly fits the brief in that regard, and he could be a transformative signing for the 20-time English champions, who have ambitions to return to the top of the Premier League in the not too distant future.
