Chris Paul notched an impressive 38 points to help lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 113-97 victory over the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Centre on Saturday.
Paul became only the second player in the last 40 years to score 38 points and 12 assists, with a shooting percentage of 78.6 from the field.
Blake Griffin and Jared Dudley were also on form for LA, as the visitors carried a double-digit lead for the entire second half of the game.
Washington's only real resistance came from John Wall and Kevin Seraphin, with the latter scoring a season-high 16 points.
The Clippers are first in the Pacific Division with a record of 16-9 for the season.
