The Milwaukee Bucks have confirmed that Jorge Gutierrez has signed a multi-year contract with the franchise.
Gutierrez had played under two separate 10-day deals earlier this year, but NBA rules prevent teams from signing players to a third short-term contract.
After playing the last of his seven games in February, the Bucks have responded by securing his services ahead of the playoffs later this month.
The 26-year-old guard had played 25 games over the last two seasons for the Brooklyn Nets, before impressing for the Canton Charge in the NBA D-League.
Gutierrez has averaged 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds while playing 13.4 minutes per game for the Bucks.
