The New Orleans Pelicans have been dealt a blow with the news that Darius Miller will be out of action for up to three months with a stress fracture of the foot.
Miller, who played 52 times for the franchise last season, was forced to have surgery on the problem and the Pelicans have confirmed that he will be on the sidelines for at least eight weeks.
New Orleans begin their pre-season training camp later this month ahead of the season opener against the Indiana Pacers on October 30.
Miller, a second-round pick in the 2012 Draft, was mainly used off the bench last term and only started two games in his rookie year.
