New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony has insisted that the franchise will "absolutely" make the playoffs next season after re-signing with the team this summer.
New head coach Derek Fisher is expected to reinvent the Knicks' style of play and Anthony is confident that there is a bright future ahead.
"Yeah, I think so for sure. Absolutely. I can't wait to get started. No goals. Not setting any goals, but I just can't wait to get it back on," Anthony said, the New York Post reports.
The Knicks missed out on the playoffs last year after a dismal regular season, which ended with a 37-45 record as they failed to build on the success they enjoyed the previous campaign.
