New York Knicks to hold talks with DeAndre Jordan, LaMarcus Aldridge?

The New York Knicks will reportedly meet free agents LaMarcus Aldridge and DeAndre Jordan for talks this week.

The New York Knicks have reportedly made plans to hold talks with Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan and Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge later this week.

Teams can begin talking to free agents on Wednesday, and with the Knicks under pressure to recover from a franchise-worst season, they are expected to make a big play for an established star of the league.

According to ESPN, president Phil Jackson, general manager Steve Mills and head coach Derek Fisher will be present for the talks with the two players, who have named the Knicks in the top four of their respective lists of interested teams.

Aldridge is reported to have made it clear that he will not return to the Blazers, and reports have suggested that he will also hold talks with the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks.

Jordan is also expected to meet the Lakers and Mavericks, but the Clippers are also in the race to re-sign their center.
