Memphis Grizzlies lead playoff series after overtime win

The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Oklahoma City Thunder by a single point in overtime to take a 3-2 series lead.

The Memphis Grizzlies have taken a 3-2 lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder after beating the Western Conference's second seeds 100-99 following overtime.

It looked like it would be a comfortable game for the visitors, as Mike Miller and Zach Randolph helped the Grizzlies to a 20-point advantage midway through the third quarter.

However, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook led the Thunder comeback to force the two teams into overtime for the fourth game in a row.

Miller made two three-pointers at the start of the extra period to give the Grizzlies the lead, while Durant missed a late shot that would have given Oklahoma City the win. A Serge Ibaka rebound was judged to have left his hand after the buzzer, giving the visitors the win.

The Grizzlies will have the chance to seal the series when the teams meet again in Memphis on Thursday.
