Oklahoma City complete series victory over San Antonio

Oklahoma City beat the San Antonio Spurs 107-99 to book their spot in the NBA finals with a game to spare by completing a 4-2 series win.

Oklahoma City have secured their place in the NBA finals after beating the San Antonio Spurs 107-99 to complete a 4-2 series victory in the Western Conference finals.

Kevin Durant was the Thunder's key player of the night as the small forward chalked up 34 points and 14 rebounds to ensure victory over San Antonio.

The Spurs were ahead by 15 at the halfway stage but failed to keep their shooting percentages at a high level as Russell Westbrook added 25 points to torment San Antonio with Durant.

Tony Parker managed 29 points in a losing cause for the Spurs, who saw their chance of the NBA title slip away at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Oklahoma will face either Miami Heat or Boston Celtics in the NBA finals with the Celtics currently leading the series 3-2 with two games remaining.
