Toronto Raptors edge past Brooklyn Nets

DeMar DeRozan leads the Toronto Raptors to a 100-95 win over the Brooklyn Nets, levelling their first-round playoff series.

The Toronto Raptors secured a narrow 100-95 win over the Brooklyn Nets in the second game in the first round of the playoffs, levelling the series 1-1.

DeMar DeRozan, who struggled in the 94-87 defeat at the weekend, was back on form to lead the team with 30 points, including 36 in a dominant fourth quarter for the home side.

Joe Johnson and Deron Williams led the Brooklyn charge, giving the visitors a two-point advantage heading into the final 12 minutes.

However, they were unable to hold DeRozan back in the fourth quarter, while Amir Johnson and Jonas Valancuinas also contributed as the Canadian side sealed the win.

The third game of the series takes place at the Nets' Barclays Center on Friday.
