Team England's Scott Fitzgerald has won gold in the men's welterweight boxing at the Commonwealth Games by defeating India's Mandeep Jangra in the final.
The 22-year-old put in a strong performance at the SSE Hydro to clinch the medal with a unanimous points victory, as all three judges marked him well ahead of his opponent.
The bronze medal in the event was won by Northern Ireland's Steven Donnelly, who beat South Africa's Tulani Mbenge in Glasgow.
Fitzgerald's success was England's third gold medal in the ring on Saturday as he followed teammates Nicola Adams and Savannah Marshall in winning the Commonwealth title.
