British welterweight Kell Brook will face Shawn Porter for the IBF title in California on August 16.
Brook became mandatory challenger for the world title after defeating Vyacheslav Senchenko last October, but the Yorkshire fighter was forced to wait for his opportunity after Porter agreed a voluntary defence against Paulie Malignaggi.
The encounter appeared to be in doubt last week when Porter's camp claimed that contracts had not been signed, but after an original date of August 9 was scrapped, the two men will do battle seven days later in Carson.
Brook is unbeaten in 32 professional contests, while Porter has never tasted defeat in his 25 matches in the paid ranks.
