Puerto Rican fighter Miguel Cotto believes that he has the weight advantage over Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Cotto, 31, and Mayweather will meet in Las Vegas on Saturday, and the WBA light-middleweight champion feels that clashing at 154 pounds will work in his favour.
"No-one should forget that I am very comfortable at 154 pounds, and that will be a huge asset going into this match," said Cotto.
"There's no doubt I have the power to win this fight. If anything, my power has strengthened. That will make the difference.
"The last few years of life have been great for me as a boxer. I have learned quite a bit about myself, and what it takes to win. My fight with Floyd Mayweather will be great and exciting and I know fans desperately want to see it happen."
Cotto is a four-time world champion in three different weight divisions and goes into the bout with a record of 37-2.
