Former light-middleweight European champion Jamie Moore has been shot twice while spending time in Marbella with fighter Matthew Macklin.
Moore, who is also a pundit on Sky Sports, suffered the injuries to his legs in the early hours of Sunday morning, and it is being reported that he is under armed guard in hospital.
After the news broke on Monday evening, Macklin, who Moore is helping prepare for a world title eliminator at the end of the month, tweeted that doctors were hopeful that he hadn't suffered any "serious or permanent" damage.

Moore retired from the sport in 2010 with a professional record of 32 victories from 37 bouts.
