The world heavyweight title fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury will reportedly go ahead after an issue regarding the ring canvas was resolved.
On Saturday morning, Fury and his team checked the ring canvas at the Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf before quickly claiming that the surface was too soft due to the amount of foam installed underneath it.
Health and safety issues were also raised due to the canvas restricting the movement of the fighters, leading to suggestions that the bout could be postponed.
Trainer Peter Fury posted on Twitter that an official from the British Boxing Board of Control had described the canvas as "totally unacceptable", but according to Sky Sports News, the issue has been resolved between the two camps.
Fury is attempting to end the nine-year reign of Klitschko, who has not suffered defeat since 2004.
