Talks over a summer fight between David Haye and Vitali Klitschko have stalled, according to Haye's trainer Adam Booth.
The British fighter retired from boxing in 2011 but has admitted that he would be tempted to reverse his decision if a bout with Klitschko were a possibility.
However, Booth has revealed that negotiations with the Russian's camp have stalled in recent weeks.
"It's in their hands. As far as I am concerned all the points have been agreed verbally, but subsequently Vitali came out and said the fight was 'miles away' from being made," said Booth.
"I don't understand why he would say that. Maybe they are just using David's name just to get some publicity.
"Until they send the contract and until it is signed, I will try not to waste too much time on it because you have to remember, I have negotiated with them four times now and there has only been one fight."
Haye, a former WBA Heavyweight Champion, last fought when he lost his title to Vitali's brother, Wladimir, in July.
