Matchroom Sport has announced that Kell Brook will defend his IBF welterweight title against Kevin Bizier in Sheffield on March 26.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Brook would take on his mandatory challenger in England after the two camps agreed terms, with the night representing Brook's first outing in 10 months after a rib injury caused the cancellation of his October bout with Diego Chaves.
The 29-year-old said: "I'm delighted to be back fighting at the Sheffield Arena again. While I was gutted to miss out on fighting in October, I've fully recovered from the injury and feel stronger than ever.
"I've been working hard in the gym and working on new things, and I cannot wait to put on another explosive performance for my hometown fans and prove I am the best 147-pound fighter on the planet."
Brook hopes that a win over Bizier will lead to a Wembley showdown with Amir Khan, but his long-term rival has suggested that he is pursuing a clash with the winner of the WBC title bout between Danny Garcia and Robert Guerrero after being made mandatory challenger for that belt.
