Vitali Klitschko has revealed that he hurt his left shoulder in the fourth round of his WBC heavyweight title fight with Dereck Chisora.
The 40-year-old went on to win the bout at the Olympiahalle in Munich by virtue of a unanimous points decision.
"I came into the fight in top shape," the Ukrainian told German TV network RTL.
"In the 4th round, I hurt [my shoulder]. I'm really afraid because my left arm just doesn't move and it feels like it doesn't belong to me.
"The doctors said it's nothing serious. Thank God no surgical treatment is necessary."
Klitschko was forced to retire against Chris Byrd in 2000 after suffering a similar injury when he tore his rotator cuff.
