IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter has indicated that he will look to fight aggressively against Paulie Malignaggi on Saturday evening.
The two Americans will meet in Washington with the winner progressing to a bout with unbeaten Brit Kell Brook, and Porter believes that he has the capabilities to put on a strong display against his experienced opponent.
The 26-year-old told reporters: "I've been training well and the team have been working very hard. We are excited to get there on Saturday night to show what we can do.
"Paulie is a good fighter. He's skilful, crafty and smart, but I have everything it takes to beat him. I'm just as fast and just as quick, and we are going to go after him on Saturday night."
Porter is unbeaten in 24 encounters, while Malignaggi has 33 wins from 38 matches.
