Northern Ireland boxer Sean Duffy has said that the support he has received at this summer's Commonwealth Games has been "amazing".
Duffy's words came after he booked his spot in the semi-finals of the competition by beating Khir Akyazlan Azmi on Tuesday evening.
"I think the support was amazing. I am finding every nation is getting behind us now. I think that they can see the quality of the fighting and they really respect good boxing," he told reporters.
"It is great to have that sort of atmosphere inside the arena. It helps a lot in the ring."
Duffy, who is now guaranteed at least a bronze medal this summer, will face Junias Jonas in the semi-finals on Friday.
