Sean McGoldrick hails Michael Conlan

Wales boxer Sean McGoldrick calls Northern Ireland boxer and potential last-four opponent at the Commonwealth Games Michael Conlan "a great fighter".

Wales boxer Sean McGoldrick has branded Northern Ireland's Michael Conlan "a great fighter".

The two Bantamweights have made it through to the quarter-finals of the Commonwealth Games this summer and would meet in the last four of the competition if the pair both advanced.

"It would be a great fight. Conlan is a good fighter so it would be a great fight," he told Sports Mole.

McGoldrick beat Jackson Woods in his last-16 clash, while Conlan overcame Shiva Thapa.
