Australia lead Sri Lanka by 260 runs at lunch on the fourth day of their first Test match at Hobart.

Australia have increased their lead over Sri Lanka to 260 runs at lunch on the fourth day of first Test match between the two teams in Hobart.

The home side are currently 146-2 in their second innings, with Phillip Hughes and Shane Watson unbeaten on nine and two runs respectively at the moment.

Both David Warner and Ed Cowan reached their respective half-centuries in the opening session of the day, recording a partnership of 132 runs in 41.1 overs.

Warner eventually had to end his innings on 68 runs and Cowan returned to the pavillion after hitting 56.
