Retired bowler Graeme Swann has reportedly taken aim at some of the egos in the England dressing room following the announcement of his retirement from cricket.
The 34-year-old revealed yesterday that he will take no further part in the ongoing Ashes series in Australia after deciding to end his five-year career with the Three Lions.
Swann, who will stay in Australia with his family for the remainder of the series, has now said that certain players in the dressing room need to take stock of themselves.
"Some people playing the game at the minute have no idea how far up their own backsides they are," BBC Sport quotes Swann as saying.
"I hope they look back and are embarrassed about how they carry on."
However, Swann told former England captain Michael Vaughan over Twitter that he was not talking about anyone in the England squad.
"I wasn't talking about the England dressing room or anyone in it," he posted.
England are 3-0 down with two Tests left to play.
