England five down after solid morning at Lord's

England lose the wicket of Ben Stokes as they reach 181-5 at lunch on day three of the second Ashes Test at Lord's.

England have battled to 181-5 at lunch on day three of the second Ashes Test at Lord's.

The hosts started the morning session on 85-4 after Australia had declared on 566-8 on Friday.

It was Ben Stokes who did most of the attacking with the bat, while Alastair Cook took a more patient approach in order to steady his side.

Both men were able to reach their half-centuries, but England's progress was dealt a blow just before the break when Stokes was bowled by Mitchell Marsh for 87.

Cook (56*) will be joined at the crease by Jos Buttler (5*) when play gets back underway.
