England have fought back against India at tea on day one of the first Test at Trent Bridge.
Starting the session on 106-1, the tourists lost the wickets of Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli within the space of 10 balls before finishing on 177-3.
Pujara (38) was the first to go soon after the restart when he was caught by Ian Bell off the bowling of James Anderson.
The prize wicket of Kohli (1) then fell in the next over as Bell was on hand in the field again following a Stuart Broad delivery to leave India on 107-3.
However, opener Murali Vijay remained hard to budge at the crease, moving on to 92 before tea was called. He will be joined by Ajinkya Rahane (32) out in the middle when play resumes.
