Ian Bell admits that he is pleased with his century contribution during England's win over the West Indies.

Ian Bell has revealed that he is pleased with the contribution that he made during England's 114-run victory over the West Indies earlier today.

The Warwickshire batsman produced a series of strokes on his way to recording a score of 126 as England began life without the retired Kevin Pietersen.

Reflecting on the whole team's performance, Bell also took the opportunity to praise the bowling attack.

"I really enjoyed being able to play a few shots at the top of the order," he told Sky Sports News. "It's a big ground, you can't hit too many sixes and you have to try to run lots of twos.

"I take my hat off to our bowlers too, they were incredible."

Today's century was only the second Bell has struck at one-day international level.
