West Indies seize control of the first Test match in Antigua, restricting England to just five wickets on day three as they moved into a 62-run lead.

England have spent day three of the first Test match with West Indies in the field, the home side progressing slowly from 202-4 to 373-9.

On a day where Mark Wood also sustained an elbow problem, England had little joy, the sole positive being that they only remain 62 runs adrift in Antigua.

Ben Stokes struck early to remove Jason Holder for 45, but the tourists had little answer to the patience of Nkrumah Bonner, who spent nine hours and 18 minutes at the crease before being dismissed for 123.

That wicket came at the back end of a tiring day for England as West Indies went from 97.2 to 154.5 overs scoring just 93 runs.

Wicket-keeper Joshua Da Silva hit 32 off 88 balls, a respectable run-rate, but Kemar Roach was at the crease for almost two hours to collect his 15 runs.

Craig Overton and Stokes have two wickets apiece ahead of finishing off the innings on Friday, with Jack Leach using 43 overs for his 1-79.
