West Indies record a 17-run victory over England on Sunday night to edge the T20 series between the two teams by a 3-2 scoreline.

West Indies have posted a 3-2 series victory over England by winning the final T20 international in Bridgetown by 17 runs.

England had twice levelled the series to make Sunday's encounter a pivotal clash but the home side proved too strong, the series being wrapped up by four wickets in as many balls by Jason Holder.

While Brandon King (34) and Kyle Mayers (31) gave West Indies a strong start, England would have been more than satisfied having restricted their opponents to 105-4 after 14.4 overs.

However, Kieran Pollard (41*) and Rovman Powell (35*) hit six maximums between them to take West Indies to 179-4, a sizeable total given the circumstances.

England recovered from losing Jason Roy in the first over, but only James Vince (55) and Sam Billings (41) came out with any credit as the away side were dismissed for 162 with one ball remaining.

Although England could have won the contest and series with 20 runs from the final over, it was Holder who stole the headlines, dismissing Chris Jordan, Billings, Adil Rashid and Saqib Mahmood in consecutive balls.
