England have bounced back from their Test series whitewash at the hands of Pakistan by winning the first one-day international between the two sides.
A knock of 137 from captain Alastair Cook helped England record a total of 260 runs from their 50 overs.
In reply, Pakistan failed to build any momentum as they were bowled out for 130 runs, some 131 behind their victory target.
Steven Finn was the pick of England's bowlers, claiming figures of 4-34.
