Yuvraj Singh plays a vital role in India's 11-run victory over Pakistan in the second of their two-match T20 series.

Yuvraj Singh has inspired India to a series-levelling victory against Pakistan in their second Twenty20 encounter in Ahmedabad.

The 31-year-old, who has recently recovered from lung cancer, blasted 72 off 36 balls to help the hosts set their great rivals 192 for a series victory.

Ajinkya Rahane (28) and Gautam Gambhir (21) had put on a decent opening stand of 44 before both were removed from the crease by Umar Gul.

Virat Kohli (27) ably assisted Yuvraj until he was run out by Saeed Ajmal. Yuvraj became Gul's third victim when Shoaib Malik showed a safe pair of hands to send the dangerman on his way.

MS Dhoni (33) also contributed to the innings before Gul, who finished with figures of 4-37, struck once again.

Pakistan began well as they chased down India's total, with Nasir Jamshed (41) and Ahemed Shehzad (31) put on a stand of 74. Ravichandran Ashwin broke that partnership by removing Jamshed, with Shehzad quickly following after being stumped off the bowling of Yuvraj.

Mohammed Hafeez chipped in with a knock of 51 to revive Pakistan's innings just as it threatened to fall apart.

However, Ashok Dinda went on to take three wickets and leave the visitors 11 runs short of India's total.
