Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan star as India post 363 in opening ODI

India openers Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan both score centuries as the hosts post 363-5 in the first one-day international against Sri Lanka in Cuttack.

India openers Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan put on a 231-run opening stand as India set Sri Lanka an imposing target of 364 to win the first one-day international in Cuttack.

It was not until the 35th over when Sri Lanka, who won the toss and elected to bowl, finally took a wicket through Ashan Priyanjan, who bowled Dhawan [113 runs off 107 balls].

Rahane [111 off 108] followed soon after off the bowling of Suraj Randiv, before Suresh Raina added a quickfire 52 off 34 balls.

Randiv was the Sri Lanka's best bowler, taking three wickets for 78 runs in his 10 overs.

India finished on 363-5 and had Akshar Patel to thank for some late sixes.
