Stephen Eskinazi has agreed a new contract with Middlesex.
The 21-year-old's previous deal at Lord's had been due to expire at the end of the year.
However, having been the second XI's leading run-scorer during the 2015 campaign, Eskinazi has been rewarded with terms until the end of the 2017 season.
"I am delighted to have signed a contract with the club that gave me my first professional opportunity in the game," he told the club's official website.
"After an exciting year on the field, I'm looking forward to bigger and better things from both a personal and a club perspective."
Johannesburg-born Eskinazi made his senior debut for Middlesex against Yorkshire last month.
