Sachin Tendulkar is not a long-term worry for the Mumbai Indians after he was ruled out of Wednesday's game with Rajasthan Royals.
Team mentor and bowling coach Shaun Pollock believes that Tendulkar will be fit again in time for the meeting with Delhi Daredevils on Monday.
Pollock said: "It's a long tournament, so we give him every chance, every game to see if he will be fit. I am not sure about tomorrow, whether there will be enough time [for him to be fit].
"I think by the time the [April 16 game against Delhi Daredevils] comes around everything should be fine.
"Who knows if he feels better tomorrow we will be happy to give him a chance [to play]."
Tendulkar has missed Mumbai's last two Indian Premier League games after injuring his right hand's middle finger during the season opener against Chennai Super Kings on April 4.
