Pakistan face fight to save second Test

Pakistan face a fight to save the second Test match against Sri Lanka after ending day three 91 runs behind with seven wickets of their second innings remaining.

Pakistan have ended day three of the second Test match with Sri Lanka on 132-3, still 91 runs away from forcing their opponents to bat again.

After ending the first innings with a 223-run advantage, Sri Lanka took three wickets to leave Pakistan requiring a big effort over the final two days.

Sri Lanka started Friday's play on 318-4, but Pakistan took six wickets during the morning session, with Mahela Jayawardene being dismissed for 129.

Pakistan's reply began disastrously as they were quickly reduced to 19-3, but Younis Khan (62*) and Misbah-ul-Haq (53*) put on an unbeaten stand of 113 to retain hope for their team.
