Ahmed Shehzad reaches half-century

Ahmed Shehzad scores his half-century as Pakistan take a commanding lead into lunch on the fourth day.

Ahmed Shehzad's half-century provided Pakistan with a strong start to the fourth day's action against Australia, conceding just one wicket at lunch.

Pakistan started the day 189 runs ahead of the Australians with all 10 wickets in hand.

However, it only took 11 overs for Australia to get their first wicket as Brad Haddin caught Azhar Ali off the bowling of Steve O'Keefe, with the opener scoring 30 runs.

Shehzad reached 50 not long before the break as Pakistan creept closer to the 300 mark after scoring 78 runs collectively this session.

Pakistan lead 116-1, with the gap slowly increasing for the Aussies.
