Cricket South Africa has banned Gulam Bodi from all cricket-related activities for the next 20 years.
The governing body has taken the decision after the 37-year-old admitted to the charge of attempting to fix matches at the Twenty20 Ram Slam tournament in 2015.
Bodi is not expected to challenge the verdict, so his career has essentially been ended by the punishment.
The India-born batsman featured for South Africa at one-day international and T20 level.
