South Africa skipper Graeme Smith goes in to lunch having hit yet another Test century against England.

South Africa captain Graeme Smith has reached another century against England as the Proteas continue to control day three of the first test.

The knock continues Smith's phenomenal record against England, as the batsman has now amassed five centuries in just ten matches against the current number one Test side, as well as two double centuries.

It was a century of two halves, with the first 50 runs taking 160 balls to come while the second took just 41 as Smith went through the gears.

Smith becomes only the seventh player in history to score a century on their 100th cap, getting over the triple-figure mark just before lunch.

South Africa go into the break 187-1, still 198 runs behind.
