South Africa reach 267-8 in the fourth ODI against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

AB de Villiers fell narrowly short of a century as South Africa piled on 267-8 in the fourth one-day international against Australia.

The 30-year-old finished with 91 off 88 deliveries at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, while David Miller struck a quick-fire 45.

Six other Proteas players also reached double figures to add to the tally.

Pat Cummins and James Faulkner bagged a couple of wickets each for the home side, while De Villiers was sent packing by Steve Smith in the 42nd over.

Australia lead the five-match series 2-1.
