Sri Lanka win second Test by 105 runs to clinch series over Pakistan

Sri Lanka win the series against Pakistan after Rangana Herath takes his 14th wicket to secure a 105-run victory for the hosts in the second Test.

Sri Lanka have earned a convincing 105-run victory over Pakistan in the second Test in order to clinch the series in Colombo.

In what was Mahela Jayawardene's final Test match, Sri Lanka needed just two wickets on day five in order to wrap up the series.

Sarfraz Ahmed, whose stubborn performance earned him a century in his first innings, was the first casualty of the day for Pakistan as he fell for 55 after Chanaka Welegedara's delivery.

It was just a matter of time before Sri Lanka clinched victory as Rangana Herath continued his scintillating form to dismiss Wahab Riaz, who hit 17 off 46 balls.

Herath was named man of the match and the man of the series after taking 14 wickets in the match and 23 overall in the series.
