Royal Challengers Bangalore have missed out on a place in the Indian Premier League playoffs with a seven-wicket defeat at Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Bangalore, who won the toss, made 160-6 before the Sunrisers reached their winning target of 161 in the final over for the loss of three wickets.
Chris Gayle hit a disappointing 14 at the top of the Royal Challengers' batting order, but Virat Kohli boosted their score with a knock of 67 from 41 balls.
However, Yuvraj Singh (21) and AB de Villiers (29) were the only other players to get beyond the 20-run mark.
Dale Steyn ended with two wickets for Hyderabad, while Parveez Rasool, Karan Sharma and Irfan Pathan all took one wicket each.
Big scores of 50 and 59 from Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner respectively saw the Sunrisers get off to a flying start at the crease, and Naman Ojha (24) helped push their total on even further.
Aaron Finch (11) and Darren Sammy (10) then helped the hosts end their three-match losing streak by hitting the winning runs in the final two overs.
Varun Aaron claimed two wickets for Bangalore, while Dhawan was run out at the top of the order.
