Having already won the Tour de France this summer, Great Britain's Bradley Wiggins added a gold medal to his haul in the men's time trial at the Olympics this afternoon.
Within minutes of Wiggins crossing the line, sports men and women took to Twitter to praise the British cyclist's achievements.
