Adrian Lewis survived a scare to win a last-leg decider against Kim Huybrechts, who missed two match darts and averaged over 106 in defeat.
Raymond van Barneveld produced a clinical display to see off Dave Chisnall, while there were also wins for James Wade, Simon Whitlock, Robert Thornton and Wes Newton.
