AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini has insisted that his side will not rest on their laurels after thrashing Pescara 4-0 this afternoon.
Flamini was on target in a comfortable Milan victory that edged the Rossoneri closer to third place and Champions League qualification.
The French midfielder believes that his side must now start focusing on Sunday's clash with Roma, with a win guaranteeing third place ahead of Fiorentina.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "Now we have to think about the match against Roma. The important thing is to stay focused for Roma and recuperate for the game.
"If we beat Roma we would ensure third place, which is the most important thing. The priority is the Champions League.
"Since we would be qualifying for the preliminary stage, it would probably decide the future of many. Maybe even for myself, as my contract renewal is important. We're playing for Allegri, sure, but especially for the third place. It is a priority for everyone."
Massimiliano Allegri's side have amassed 68 points from 36 Serie A matches after losing just one league game in 2013.
