Sinisa Mihajlovic: "We made too many mistakes"

AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic says that his team lost "too many individual battles" in their Serie A defeat at Genoa.

AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has admitted that his team made "too many mistakes" during their 1-0 defeat against Genoa this afternoon.

Blerim Dzemaili scored the only goal of the match with a deflected free kick, while the Rossoneri finished with 10 men after Alessio Romagnoli was shown red.

"The reality is, we did well in only one half of the game and unfortunately this is not enough," Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia.

"We made too many mistakes and lost too many individual battles, but we almost never gave them opportunities.

"When we went down to ten men the team reacted and created a lot, but we still lacked a bit [to get back in the game]."

Milan are next in action when they welcome Napoli to San Siro next Sunday evening.
