Brazilian striker Robinho will not leave AC Milan in the January window, according to the Italian club's vice-president Adriano Galliani.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has insisted that Brazilian striker Robinho will not be sold in the January transfer window.

It has been strongly suggested that the 30-year-old will seek a move back to his home nation in the winter window, but Galliani has quelled such reports.

"Robinho? Our intention is to keep him, then we will see," he told Sky Italia.

Galliani has also revealed that the club will not be able to bring in players unless they sell first.

"There are 32 players in the squad, and if nobody leaves then nobody will come in. We'll have to sell first and then buy, otherwise we'll stay as we are," he added.

Milan currently sit seventh in Serie A.
